I think because I worked in a domain where technology and making plays a significant role. It helped me with motivation and find opportunities to grow in other expertise areas by framing it in situations that I can relate more with.

During the internship, I was often researching new innovations. Looking at the status of self-driving cars, brainstorming ways on how the integration of real time traffic information would impact the guidelines. The latter my coding knowledge really helped with, I have a clear understanding of how these systems function and can explain it to other stakeholders, this example shows the overlap T&R can have with B&E.

On the topic of pink signs, I was researching datasheets for reflective properties between different colors and experimenting with color contrast between different colors searching for alternatives. I haven’t had to look at datasheets a lot during my development so far, so it’s nice to have another thing checked in preparation for my FBP.
